HeavenGames: Can you introduce yourself for the community?
FasT: My online name is FasT, I have been playing online games for around eight years now, I live and work in the UK.
HG: How did you find World in Conflict and what’s your history with gaming?
FasT: Well, regarding World in Conflict I noticed a mat of mine on x-fire playing a beta of it and didn’t know what it was .I checked it out and downloaded it, I haven’t looked back since.
I’ve played numerous games online; to list them all would be just too much. But, I used to play Shogun Total War and the rest of the TW series and was in the Clan Wloves. Still am, but haven’t played for around 3 years apart from a few games undercover. I also played World of Warcraft for 3 years and was in the Guild Obscure on Drakthul server.
HG: Why is infantry your favorite role? Do you use transports and buildings a lot?
FasT: Infantry suits my style of play, but I like to master one class first then move onto another.
YES I use transports, depending on maps and how offensive I want to be. Well buildings mean good cover so I use them a lot. Remember COVER is what keeps infantry hidden and alive…most of the time
HG: What is your favorite game mode, why?
FasT: Domination, as I think it’s the most balanced mode and more tactics/teamwork need to be used IMO of course.
HG: For that mode, how do you usually start the game off?
FasT: Well at the moment I’m only playing PUB games, so I set up depending on map and team. Transport trucks/AA/INF but I change a lot. Don’t always be predictable and overly consistent, it can hurt.
HG: Do you play with the same people? We noticed you aren’t in a clan, what made you choose not to be in one?
FasT: I kind of play random servers and join some games with people I have met online. But currently I only play with one mate; he’s from my Total War days. Regarding clans, yes I receive plenty of offers but the reason I don’t join any is we will form our own clan, we are waiting for our old friends from other games to start playing. Hopefully soon!
HG: How do you find yourself using your Tactical Aids?
FasT: I use Paratroopers a lot. They are cheap and very effective. Tankbusters are nice also, but I do use them all, depends on needs etc…
HG: Finally, is there anything else you’d like to add about World in Conflict or for the community?
FasT: Yeah, most important thing is to have fun! Learn your role and try and play as a team.
